Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, from a young age, Chef Gabriela began exploring the kitchen. She continues to be influenced by the Caribbean flavors of her youth. Upon graduating from the Centro Venezolano de Capacitacion Gastronomica, the chef moved to California and attended the Culinary Program at City College of San Francisco.Chef Gabriela has refined her skills at multiple fine dining restaurants representing a range of cuisines, preparing weekly meals for individuals, and catering special occasions ranging from intimate, 15-person holiday dinners to 6-day conferences attended by 550 participants.
